I want it all, and I want it now!

29 Oct

In this day and age there is something that we are always running out of but always have more than we need.

Time.

The absence or presence of time is a illusion. Still, daily we need the pressure and comfort of time.

Someone asked me yesterday, a bit rudely, why should I buy your book? I asked him, “Why do you order pizza?” and he said “To save time.” I asked “Why do you carpool?” He said “To save energy.” I told him that is exactly what my books do, they save you time and they save you energy. They make google work for you and smaller.

Over the past five days I have had three products fall in my possession. Note, this isn’t about a review, though I will get to them. No, this is about a running theme.

Jon Benson’s 7 Min muscle
Sport’s Betting Champ
Acne Free in 3 Days

All three of these products have one thing in common. Quick fix promises. Does that mean they are bad products? Nope, not at all. In fact, Jon Benson’s 7 min muscle is pretty good and I made a few bucks with the betting…with play money…from reading the better book. The Acne book is about basically starving the Acne off, it will work, but not a long term fix. These books all stand by the “I want it all, and I want it now!” way of thinking.

What if I told you that wasn’t a bad thing?

Look at Duct Tape. Duct Tape is a quick fix product and it is fantastic!

Duct Tape can fix and create many things and quickly. However, how many of you see Duct Tape and curse its name or think of that torture experience you had with it because something that was told to be easy wasn’t? How many of you hate Duct Tape but have only ever used the cheap 99 cent stuff? We are so cheap that for a product that we should not have to use often, when skimp and still buy discount.

The problem isn’t that we want it all and want it now. It is that we want it all, we want it now, we want it cheap, and we don’t care how we get it. At least that is what most marketers depend on, desperation of the client. Marketer’s also depend on your doubt. They depend on the fact that you want to believe something is easy, but in reality, it could never really be that simple. They need your doubt in simplicity.

That is exactly what I wrote the Fat Loss Troubleshoot. This is exactly why I put together the Big Meal Challenge. If isn’t fancy. You don’t need any crazy powders, you don’t need some overly complicated lifting program, or invasive meal schedules. Just a little accountability, simple training, and a deficit. Now all I have to do is keep you interested for 19 more days. All I have to do is keep you inspired for 19 more days.

Are you still wanting it all? Are you still hanging in there? Are you taking the now?

Don’t make me Duct Tape the food hole ;)
